I’m up late working on some new Nanoloop tracks while watching 2012, which is actually not a terrible terrible movie. While working on a cover of Bon Iver’s “Skinny Love” I found this fantastic video of the band performing “For Emma, Forever” live while walking down the streethole. There’s also a cool series of videos of the band playing “Flume” and “Skinny Love” at a small party that are worth checking out.
These videos are part of a video series by La Blogotheque, who also posted an amazing Tom Jones series last year. I love the idea of capturing musicians in these more intimate settings. No set up, just play.
