Mark Growden plays the handlebars
Last Thursday, during the Obama-rama benefit, I had the chance to meet Mark Growden. Mark is a San Francisco based songwriter that is well known for his accordion prowess, but what caught my attention was the bicycle handlebars he was carrying around with him all night. I didn’t think too much about it until he did his sound check. I could have sworn I heard a flute, but it was just Mark playing his handlebars. I caught up with Mark and got him to talk about this unique instrument.
